Der Gerent GT

Die Meisten Bilder habe ich von Uli Gerent.
Hier eine kleine Stellungnahme zu seinem Gerent GT.
Baujahr 1970, Fahrgestellnummer ist 942023108. Das Fahrzeug haben wir von Splendid Parts bekommen, er hat ihn aus den USA zurück geholt. Ansonsten kann ich nichts zur original Ausstattung sagen. Aktuell ist er nach dem original Reglement für Spezial GT Wettbewerbsfahrzeuge also der Gruppe 4 bis Baujahr 1971 aufgebaut. Das Fahrzeug entspricht also dem FIA Anhang J 1971 sowie der Homologationen von Opel. Der 2,0l Querstrommotor auf Basis des 1,9Cih Kurbelgehäuses leistet ca. 280 PS bei 9200 1/min. Als gemischaufbereitung dient die mechansiche Kugelfischer Einspritzung. Das Fahrzeuggewicht beträgt 810kg und der Top Speed beträgt auf der Nordschleife im Bereich Schwedenkreuz und auf der DettingerHöhe gut 270km/h.

The Gerent GT

Here is a short statement about his Gerent GT.
Year of construction 1970, chassis number is 942023108. We got the vehicle from Splendid Parts, he brought it back from the USA. Otherwise I can't say anything about the original equipment. It is currently built according to the original regulations for special GT competition vehicles, i.e. group 4 built up to 1971. The vehicle therefore complies with the FIA Appendix J 1971 and the Opel homologations. The 2.0l cross-flow engine based on the 1.9Cih crankcase produces approx. 280 hp at 9200 rpm. The mechanical Kugelfischer injection serves to prepare the mixture. The vehicle weight is 810kg and the top speed is a good 270km/h on the Nordschleife in the Schwedenkreuz area and on the DettingerHöhe.
